Canyon to lay off up to 20% of its HQ staff

The German direct-to-consumer bike brand has announced huge cuts in an effort to address changed market conditions.

Canyon is planning to cut up to 320 roles, almost one in five of its reported 1,600-person headquarters workforce, as the German direct-to-consumer giant reshapes itself for what it calls a "fundamentally changed market environment."
